The Barnum girls basketball team defeated Grand Rapids 58-50, December 12, 2011 in Barnum. Claudia Turner led Barnum with 22 points, including 9 from 3-point range, Claire Rogers and Daron Mainville each added 10 points, and Katie Myhre scored 9 points on 3 3-pointers. Kenzie Kane hit 5 3-pointers for Grand Rapids, totalling 21 points total, while teammate Jesse Sondergaard scored 15.
