After a scoreless first half, the CEC Lumberjacks exploded for 3 second half goals in a 3-0 victory over the Rosemount Irish, August 26, 2011 at Bromberg Field. Just 1:16 into the second half, Eric Peterson lofted a ball into the penalty box that Landen Straub put his head to for the 1-0 lead. At 6:05 Westin Michaud slid in front of a defender and beat a sprawled goalkeeper for a 2-0 CEC lead. Just 3:36 later (at 9:51) Lucas Parenteau put a ball in the air from 25-30 yards that sailed over the Irish goalkeeper for the 3-0 final score. Jarad Weeks got the win in net for the Jacks.
