The Esko boys basketball team defeated Duluth Denfeld, 61-42, in Duluth, December 17, 2012 behind the hot shooting of Kory Deadrick's 32 points (4 3-pointers) and Casey Staniger's 21 points (3 3-pointers). The Eskomos led 32-15 after the first half, and built the second half up with 15 of 29 second half points came from the free throw line. Deadrick was 12 of 12 from the charity stripe, 10 of 10 in the second half. Duluth Denfeld was led by Sergei Hanka's 10 points, and teammate Steve Bradshaw's 8.
