The Cromwell Cardinals and Wrenshall Wrens played a tough, hard hitting 9-man football game in Cromwell, October 17, with Cromwell coming out victorious 22-12 in the final regular season football night of the season. Joe Couture (8 yard run), Mitch Talley (21 yard run) and Austin Pfisthner (8 yard reception from QB Jared Hutar) each scored a touchdown for Cromwell. Wrenshall QB Jack Dolter scored on a 1 yard QB sneak, and threw a 36 yard touchdown pass to Dustin Shelton. The 2-point conversion failed after the Shelton touchdown, as did an ensuing onside kick as Wrenshall tried for a late comeback.
