The Cherry Tigers and Esko Eskomos ran into tough luck in their state high school volleyball quarterfinal matches at the Xcel Center October 11, 2010. In the Class A quarter, Cherry took a beating from Wabasha-Kellog, losing 3 straight games 25-14, 25-16, and 25-4. The Tigers had 15 kills and 15 errors on 99 total kill attempts against Wabasha-Kellog. Molly Parenteau for had 13 set assits on the 15 Tiger kills. The Eskomos lost their match to Stewartville 3 games to 0 by scores of 25-12, 25-20, and 25-18. Esko (led by Stephanie Bandelin's 13) had 34 kills, with 23 errors, on 103 attempts, and Keely Deadrick had 23 set assits.
