The Thunder volleyball team played their first home game of the year, vs Gogebic CC, September 13, 2010. They started off on the right foot, winning the first game 25-18, having taken a 17-7 lead in the game. The second game, Gogebic got a quick start and won 25-17. The Thunder had leads of 17-13, 21-17, and 22-20 in game three before ultimately dropping the game 22-25. Game 4 was back and forth, but Gogebic won that 25-15 to secure the 3 games to 1 match victory.
