The UMD men's basketball team defeated UWS in the second half of the border battle doubleheader, by nearly the same score as the women, 75-54 at Romano Gym, November 22, 2011. The Dogs were led by Ryan Rasmussen's 18 points, Brett Ervin's 13 and Dan Kornbaum's 12 points. UMD shot nearly 61% in the first half, with 22 points 'in the paint,' and led 44-22 at halftime, and shot 48% for the game. For UMD, 9 players played at least 16 minutes.
