The UMD men's basketball team beat MSU-Moorhead 74-66 on Senior Night, February 16, 2013. Jake Hottenstine led UMD with 28 points, 17 of those in a hot shooting first half, where he hit 3 of 4 three-pointers and helped UMD break open the game. Jordan Reetz scored 18, with 11 of his points coming in the second half where he missed just 1 shot. The Bulldogs shot 51% for the game, to MSU-Moorhead's 44%, with the Bulldogs hitting 5 more 3-pointers than the Dragon's, but Moorhead made up some of the difference with 7 more free throws made. UMD only had 8 free throw attempts, making 6 of theirs to 13 of 21 for Moorhead.
