On Friday night, November 11, the Bulldogs dealt the Alaska Anchorage Seawolves a 5-0 shutout at Amsoil Arena. 3 goals, 1 minute 46 seconds apart sent Anchorage starting goaltender Rob Gunderson, to be replaced by Chris Kamal. At 4:38 Joe Basaraba one timed a Jack Connolly pass, in the slot, past Gunderson, and the Dogs were off and running. Just 26 seconds later Chris Casto chased a puck to the wall, to keep it in the offensive zone, and putting it towards the net, somehow beat Gunderson himself for a 2-0 UMD lead. At 6:24, Connolly scored a powerplay goal, that chased Gunderson for the night. At 12:39 of the period Jake Hendrickson scored past Kamal, to give the Dogs a 4-0 lead that went to the first intermission.

The second period was scoreless, with Kamal and Kenny Reiter each keeping the other team off the board.

Anchorage outshot UMD 13-7 in the third period, but Reiter again kept Anchorage off the board, and Travis Oleksuk gave UMD it's 5-0 final score, with a goal 4:46 into the period.

Connolly and Brady Lamb each had two assists in the game, while Wade Bergman, JT Brown, Caleb Herbert, Scott Kishel, and Justin Crandall each added a solo assist in the shutout win. Reiter stopped stopped 27 Anchorage shots in earning his 9th career shutout, and second straight.

UMD scored 3 unanswered goals in Saturday's game, after falling down 1-0 in the first period, to SWEEP Anchorage with a 3-1 win. Eric Scheid put Anchorage on the board at 5:18, ending an 8 period shutout streak (time-wise) for Kenny Reiter.

Derik Johnson, son of former Bulldog and Minnesota North Star Jim Johnson, scored his first career Bulldog goal at 10:50 on a wrist shot from the top of the slot to tie the game at 1. Travis Oleksuk scored at 14:44, one timing a perfect cross ice pass from the far wall by J.T. Brown to give the Dogs a 2-1 lead that they went to the second intermission with.

Jack Connolly, on an incredible 1 on 5 solo effort while UMD was in the midst of a line change, skated the puck near the extended goal line and backhanded it towards the net, sneaking it between goaltender Kamal and the post for the 3-1 final victory score for the 'Dogs. Reiter stopped 35 of 36 shots he faced, and even attempted to score himself, with UMD down a man and Kamal pulled for an extra Seawolf attacker, but missed the open net by only a couple of feet.
