On a weekend used to celebrate UMD's outgoing senior class, the Bulldogs swept the University of Nebraska-Omaha 5-4 on Friday and 6-0 on Saturday night. A number of Bulldogs had huge weekends, with Austin Farley scoring 2 goals and adding 4 assists in the series, Mike Seidel scoring 3 goals and 2 assists, Caleb Herbert getting 5 assists, Tony Cameranesi 4 assists, and Joe Basaraba scoring a goal each night.

Matt McNeely got the win Friday night, going down 3-1, but UMD picked him up with 4 goals in the second period after he helped kill a 5 minute Omaha powerplay, where he had settled down and got the 5-4 win. Aaron Crandall picked up his 4th career shutout in UMD's dominating win on Saturday night, stopping all 32 shots he faced. The Bulldogs were an amazing 7 of 12 on the powerplay vs the Mavericks on the weekend, while killing 5 of 6 UNO powerplays. UMD heads to Wisconsin for a first round WCHA playoff matchup, the final appearance for both teams in the WCHA tournament before UMD moves to the NCHC and Wisconsin to the Big Ten.
