The Bulldogs' volleyball team swept the Winona State Warriors, October 20, 2012 to complete UMD's 2012 homecoming weekend sweep. Kate Lange led UMD with 14 kills, while Maddey Siroin and Kalli Lochner each had 8, and Monica Turner had 7. Julie Rainey had 22 digs in the match, and Ashley Hinsch scored 37 set-assists for the match. The Bulldogs hit 43% for the match, and the UMD defense held Winona to 4% hitting percentage.
