The UMD women handled the St. Cloud State Huskies over the December 2nd/3rd series, with 5-1 and 10-2 victories at Amsoil Arena. For Saturday nights game, the UMD women wore pink uniforms that were raffled off for breast cancer research. For the weekend, Haley Irwin had one goal and NINE assists, accounting for parts of 2/3 of the 'Dogs scoring in the series. Hermantown native, sophomore Julia Gilbert scored her first goal of the season for St. Cloud on Saturday night, after scoring 6 in her freshman season.
