Friday night, Midwest All-Star Wrestling returned for the 2nd year in a row to the Head of the Lakes Fair.. this year’s show was inside the curling club, while last summer, the show was on the Gondik Law Speedway dirt track.

A crowd of around 300 people attended the show, headlined as a fundraiser for the Head of the Lakes United Way, with WWE & AWA legendary Olympia Ken Patera in town for a meet & greet, as well as the Brooklyn Brawler, who also portrayed ‘KimChee’ the handler for wrestler Kamala, the Ugandan Giant.

Local tag team, the Barking Spiders came out of retirement to take on Virginia, Minnesota’s own, The System and his tag partner Drago. WDIO weatherman Justin Liles got involved in that match, costing the Barking Spiders the match.

The main event saw NWA champion EC3 defend his title against Mitch Paradise.
