LONG post, so bear with me!

With @Viewthroughmylens.net coming up on 18 years, it is time to start offering business partnerships and social media paid partnerships, and advertising on the page. I need to do this to be able to keep career-packages at $150 for individuals and $200 for families.

I have an aging car & will need to upgrade camera bodies/gear in the future and running all over the area isn’t cheap, by any means. I am trying keep photo packages a one-time cheap expense so anyone can purchase them.

Currently seeking sponsorships at $50/each for the upcoming section softball, section baseball, and section track tournaments, as well as state should we have baseball or softball participants.. I’ll be at State track for certain, with all of the great 7A and 7AA athletes we have on the guys’ and girls’ sides. The $50 for a sport covers sections through state coverage if covered teams make it.

I know times are tough, so I’m trying to keep everything as cheap as possible, while being able to survive another 20 years I plan to work until 70, at least!

Playoff schedules:

Softball sections start May 20

Baseball sections start May 27

Track sections are a little different, with subsections and sections. 7A South subsection at Esko is May 21, while the section (finals) meet is at UMD on May 28. I’ll for sure be at the subsection on the 21st but then coverage for Pine Knot News will determine if I’m at the 7A final or (see below) the 7AA sub-section/qualifying on the 28th.

Lacrosse playoffs start May 27 for both guys and girls’ teams.

7AA subsection and finals are at North Branch, May 28 and May 31. For certain I’ll be at the final on May 31 (see above) but the 28th will be determined based on availability.

State softball, if any of our teams make it, has a new format, similar to baseball.. with that tournament on the 3rd and 4th.. and championship day now at the U of Minnesota’s Jane Sage Cowles Stadium on June 6.

State track is now a mid-week thing, June 10-12th at St. Michael-Albertville.. Tuesday through Thursday.

State baseball coincides with State track, June 11-12 and championship day at Target Field June 14. I’ll be at State track, and if a team makes June 14th championship from our Pine Knot coverage area, will be able to make the championship game.

Any tournament coverage is available for sponsorship for $50 each.. BUT.. here’s a deal for local business.. you can sponsor the entire 2025-26 athletics YEAR for $300.. that’s coverage of all section and state tournaments.. from fall volleyball, football, soccer, winter hockey, basketball, and all the spring sports mentioned above. Since we’re near the end of the 2024-25 school year, 2025 SPRING tournaments will be included for free if you sign up and pay now for the 25-26 $300 year.

Again, $300 to sponsor coverage for an ENTIRE year, with social media mentions on the page as well as the Instagram page https://www.instagram.com/dhmn_photos/ throughout the entire year, or during the tournament you choose to sponsor.
